Completing the below form will register your interest for this free professional learning opportunity which will assist you in implementing a flipped classroom for one of the following subjects:
- Physics Unit 1 and 2
- Physics Unit 3 and 4
- Chemistry Unit 3 and 4
- Human Biology Unit 1 and 2
- Human Biology Unit 3 and 4
- Mathematics: Methods Unit 1 and 2
- Mathematics: Specialist Unit 3 and 4

Purpose and Aim:
- Learn the history and philosophy of a flipped classroom environment (super brief – we all have more important things to do)
- Compare the advantages and disadvantages of a flipped classroom
- Use a scaffold to attempt a flipped class (or re-attempt for you seasoned veterans)
- Share experiences of your flipped classrooms with teachers also engaging with this program
- Get a nice looking certificate as evidence of completing this Professional Learning (by far the most important part)
Delivery of the Program:
Via a flipped classroom model of course! A collection of (short) videos will be provided over the course of the program so you can engage with the content “just in time” rather than “just in case”. SPOILER ALERT – that’s an advantage of a flipped classroom!
You and your class will be granted complimentary access to one of our products (E.g. Step Up In Chemistry Unit 3 and 4) for the duration of the program to assist with implementing your first flipped classroom lessons.
You (and your students) will require an internet connection for the duration of the program.
Dates and Times:
1 hour (approx) a week for 5 weeks, commencing July 29th (week 2, term 3 for WA public schools). Engage with the content at anytime that suits you and your schedule.
